Mike Fabery and Illya Shoykhet volunteered to take part in Le Moyne College ERIE21 sessions (video)

Earlier this summer our United Radio employees Mike Fabery and Illya Shoykhet volunteered to take part in Le Moyne College ERIE21 sessions. The sessions are part of the MACNY – The Manufacturers Association affiliated Partners for Education & Business, Inc. program. National team from the Big Picture Learning program visits United Radio

The LaFayette Big Picture Learning program allows students to pursue their passions and provides an environment that supports independent thinking. The program graduates curious learners who have developed a plan for personal growth based on real world experiences. Meet LaFayette Big Picture Learning program and United Radio intern Mya Grace. Mya is in the second year of her internship with our Syracuse Automotive Division Chrysler Instrument Cluster group. On a recent visit from Big Picture national team members, Mya demonstrated her soldering skills on circuit boards and her ability to repair wiring harnesses. The national team was quite impressed! Jennifer Ghidiu , National School Network Director, “The LaFayette Big Picture school is hands-down one of the best schools in our network! I grew up in Syracuse, so I’m so happy to come back and see all the great work happening there.” “We are not only proud of the work Mya has done but remain impressed with her desire to consistently learn new things from everyone involved on her team,” said Mike Fabery, Operations Manager. “We are grateful to the Lafayette Big Picture School and Mya’s advisor Gregory Scott for the support they provide Mya during her internship.”
Cohort 2 completes Leadership Development Program (LDP)!

Throughout the two years of LDP, Cohort 2 has transformed their own leadership journeys. A new language, perspective, and skillset has been gained around leadership at United Radio. They havedisplayed a commitment to themselves, each other as a cohort, theUnited Radio family, and our community, to be champions of our core values. Cohort 2, the LDP Advisory Committee, and our Senior Management Team spent time offsite to celebrate.
Salt Lake City donates neary 700 pounds of food to Utah Food Bank

Our Salt Lake City operation recently had the privilege to work with the Utah Food Bank and get the opportunity to give back, showcasing our commitment to not only one another but our inherent core values within the organization. According to Taylor Hedding, Administrative Supervisor at SLC, “We can happily say it was a tremendous success, far exceeding our early expectations by a substantial amount. Not only were we able to meet the base of filling the provided gaylord but then continue to donate to an impressive total of 696 lbs., going beyond for an additional 39.2% increase over the original goal.” The collective effort amongst everyone here in SLC paved the way to help families in need during the holiday season and really play a positive role within our community. “We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished and look forward to carrying that torch of positivity and impact into future charitable initiatives and events,” said Taylor. This is another great example of our United Radio core value. “We have a responsibility to each other to create a better community.” Thank you everyone.
John Panzenhagen received M3 User Group Association award

Congratulations goes out to United Radio M3 Administrator, John Panzenhagen. John was recognized with an award by the M3 User Group Association (M3UGA) Board of Directors during an M3UGA conference held at the end of October. “John has been a tireless advocate within the M3 user community, and this recognition is well deserved,” said Jeff Prinz United Radio CIO. John was praised for his work in organizing and leading monthly meetings with companies that use M3. The group consists of companies that are working with M3 on-premises, M3 Cloud, or transitioning to M3 Cloud. John is an asset not only to United Radio but to the M3 community. Communications division recognized Fire Prevention Month with visit to local Fire Station

Our United Radio Communications division recently took a trip to a local fire station in recognition of Fire Prevention Month in October. The goal of Fire Prevention Month is to raise fire safety awareness and help to protect homes and families. The Communications Sales Team took a trip to the Moyers Corners Fire Station – Station 4. This experience reinforced United Radio’s commitment to providing top-notchsolutions tailored for automotive and emergency services. The team is always equipped to meet the unique needs of our clients, ensuring that they receive quality anddependable support in every aspect of their operations, and we are always pleased to present a Fire Department with solutions for quality equipment and services. We willevaluate our clients requirements and propose products and services to best fulfill their communication needs!
United Radio one of five companies to be honored by the Utah Manufacturers Association with Company Culture Award

The 2024 NDEAM theme, “Access to Good Jobs for All” ACCES-VR, honored businesses and workers that are committed to our mission of assisting individuals with disabilities to achieve and maintain employment and supporting independent living through training, education, rehabilitation and career development. United Radio was recognized for its demonstrated commitment to providing employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. “We’ve been working with United Radio for a long time, and our interns get a well-rounded experience working with the company’s IT department ,to working on repairs of electronic equipment,” said Maggie McNamara, NYS Director of Employment for Community Options. “This has allowed them to develop new skills sets. United Radio believes that an intern should have the knowledge about how the company runs as a whole and the company has been able to offer that full body of experience. We’re really happy to have partnered with United Radio in this program. John has been working at United Radio for the past year and doing a great job!
